Academic Publication Opportunities

Main Theme: Globalization of Higher Forest Education in a Digital Era

The Asia Pacific Forestry Education Coordination Mechanism (AP-FECM) invites submissions of papers following the presentations that took place on the 5th Asia-Pacific Forestry Education Conference, March 2018, in Beijing, China.

After peer-review and upon acceptance, papers will be published in our Special Issue of the Higher Forestry Education Report. Tailored to a global audience of scholars in the sphere of forestry education, this Report will present a crucial opportunity for authors to disseminate the fruit of their research and field experience with the community.

As part of APFNet mission to foster academic cooperation and collaborative actions regarding current and future Sustainable Forest Management, a selection of the best curated submissions will be referred to scientific journals. Provided that said-submissions are approved by the academic publications, AP-FECM would sponsor any publishing related costs. In line with our organization’s mission, this action is a unique opportunity for AFPNet scholars to strengthen their position within the academic community.

Keynote speakers of the 5th Asia-Pacific Forestry Education Conference are strongly encouraged to submit papers on the topic of their presentation.
